Dreams…it is where the leaders of our world have been formed.  They have been built on dreams from their youth.   They have thought of ideal situations like you and I.  The actions that they have taken by our heroes were first thought of in their mind.  Often these thoughts were replayed again and again to the point that they had lived it before they ever actually did.  One of the worse thoughts by all people is that they should dismiss their dreams as just that.  Dreams are basically the preface to the actual action.  We think and talk about it enough then it will happen. 

I remember a time when I was terrible in sales.  I fumbled around miserably with the hopes of never having to talk to another soul.  I was threatened again and again that I would lose my job if my performance didn’t improve.  What was worse was that I had no money.  I was growing deeper and deeper into debt.  I went months without sales and became depressed.  I realized that I could not just say that I was going to be successful to keep my job, but I had to believe it in my mind.  I had to see it happening in my mind.  I would have to see those people giving the closer the credit card number and the financial numbers going on the board.  I had to see the customers finding the success in their businesses.  It became so vivid to me that I would imagine the sale the night before I even went to the phone.  I would see those names on the leads and imagine why they would make that decision to buy as oppose to why they would never do it. 

My confidence rose quickly.  I could tell it in my voice with the recordings on the phone.  It got to the point where I not only anticipated a sale each week, but eventually everyday and twice a day.  It continued to rose to the point where I would be disappointed and shocked if I was not on top.  It was a complete paradigm shift in my thoughts.  It allowed for me to change my life, but more importantly I became the necessary facilitator for these desperate people that had to have help.  You would be surpised how your dreams will not only impact you, but impact the lives and dreams of others.  Sometimes it will be for good and at times it will be for bad.  That is the power you have within you….the power to dream.
