4 Tips That Every Owner Should Practice
Start your day off right not rushing to your business. Take some time to allow for you to mentally get prepared for starting your business. Go over goals that you have written down. You need to have daily goals that are achievable for you so that you can reach your end goals. Don’t complicate your day or rush to work because you will potentially loose out at the beginning of the day. If you can overcome that awareness curve that you go through daily then you will be amazed how quickly your business will move forward. There will be more sales, better customer service, and better marketing techniques. This can be huge especially if you are on the west coast with most of the country has already started it’s day.
2. Feed Yourself Mentally:
Take the time to read, watch or listen to something. Every single day that I was in sales I would wake up and listen to recordings of the best salesman in my company. Then I would do the same coming home. If that was a total of 20 minutes then that would be an hour a week. An hour a week would be 52 hours a year. That can be huge for your growth. Success is made in the details. The small stuff really isn’t that small. I am reminded that no matter how far a door swings open, it is based on the minor movements of a hinge. The same thing exists in your life.
3. Eat Healthy and Exercise often: One of the hardest parts I have ever had as a business owner is finding stamina to go strong throughout the whole day. Many times I didn’t get the proper sleep or I ate too much during lunch and it destroyed some of my performance. I would find myself going through the motions and wishing that it would end. It is almost comical how often I would go home and wonder where that energy was that I needed for the success. Exercise also so you will be able to find not only the physical strength, but the emotional strength you need to react properly to any situation with your business. If you care that much about your business then first you have to care about your body and mind. Those are the greatest tools you will ever have as an owner. 4. Decide How Your Day Will Be:
Don’t sabotage yourself. It will really be the only thing that can destroy you. There is enough that goes on in your daily routine and often you will feel alone. Don’t let yourself be your greatest enemy. Decide now each day what will happen and how you will deal with it. Emotionally connect to your future day so that you will see exactly how your success will happen. It is just as easy to imagine as is the negativity that often clouds your mind. Just fight for control of your mind over your carnal self. If you can do that then all you have to do is simply follow through physically what your mind already knows will happen.
