Guidelines To Overcome Trials

I was watching television the other day and I saw footage of numerous natural disasters that occurred throughout the past couple years and the results of what happen. I think that we fully don’t understand what type of a challenges these people have. I thought to myself tonight, “What would I be willing to let go of my personal possessions freely without feeling regret or frustration?” Think to yourself what is really important in your life. If your house and living was rocked by a natural disaster what would you do? How would you respond? How would you treat your family and loved ones? Hopefully in your life you can be willing to give up all of your possessions freely, with your family and loved ones being the only exception. I am sad to say that most people in times when their integrity is challenged don’t have the courage to stand tall in accordance with their morals. I believe that most people will sit there now saying that they would act right during those situations, but unless they prepare themselves appropriately then when that time arrives they will never respond correctly. Here are some tips that I believe that will allow for you to find virtue in a time of pain.

1. Start by reading many virtuous books such as books of faith and virtue. The best thing you can do to improve yourself is to read and imitate your heroes. If you copy exactly what they do then you will have similar results.

2. Find purpose in life and what it is that you have worth living for.

3. Pray, communicate, or meditate to help collect your thoughts and then understand how you can improve.

4. Realize what circumstances can and will happen to you in your life. Prepare for death, sadness, and pain. It will happen and the only choice you have is how you respond.

5. Start practicing in small measures forms of kindness and selflessness. When you are in the service of others then you are in the service of your faith, principles, and what makes you your ultimate self. These small steps will lead to huge memorable actions that people remember for generations.

6. Repetition. Repeat these actions again and again. If you mentally prepare to act accordingly in your life then it will be a no-brainer as to what you have to do to find success and peace with your actions. Doing the right thing really isn’t that hard when you practice every day.

Stick to these principles and there will be more that will evolve out of this as you go through your life. It is not hard to do what is right. What is hard is breaking the habits of doing what is wrong or less that great for so long. We are taught mediocrity often in this world. Don’t settle for it.

Hi, Cade, thanks for dropping by.

I like to pray…;D I can’t help praying when there is problem that I can’t handle. I will just tell God to take it over and tell me what to do. Of course, it doesn’t mean that I am not doing anything. I am waiting signal from God telling me the next step.

Meditation is great ! Meditate for a while when there are worries.I like telling my subconscious mind good things and statements.I believe when we feed our minds with positive thoughts, good things and fortune come our way…;-)
