You have to create consistency with an ad copy in order to attract customers. Often with your list they may only see you one time and opt out. You need to brand what you are doing. There are a couple of ways to do this with your marketing. This should always start from the beginning. Don’t wait to do this down the road because you will be missing out on opportunity. Marketing is all about timing.

Monthly Reminders-Once a month is the best time to send a message to your database. It is just enough to remind them of what you are doing and not enough to get them annoyed. You don’t want to run into issues legally and get in trouble with the better business bureau. You want to give them good offers that they will remember.

Human Voice-When you market use your voice! Don’t be afraid to be human. People don’t like corporate suits in tall buildings telling them what to do. They want friends and they want to feel important. Personalize your thoughts so that they can truly feel as if you are speaking directly to them.

Same Sender-Whoever you send it from should be from the same email address every time and should be from the same name or company. However they may know you best, keep sending it that way.

Consistent Design-Branding is key for people to buy from you. They want to buy from something they have read before and feel confident about. It is important that you don’t change your image too much and put portions of your ad copy in the same place each time. If you have an offer at the bottom and it works then keep it at the bottom.

Compelling Subject Lines-Your subject lines are one of the most important tools that will impact your readers as to whether they will open the message or not. You have to have specific messages that mean something. $10 off is a lot more understandable then 20% off. Make sure that you are honest and not deceptive.

Click-through rate-39% of people that buy will purchase another product after they have bought one. Take advantage of the opportunity. It is a consistent fact that has been like that for the previous 5 years. If you can help them once, then try to help them twice. That is the only way to make money with business opportunities.

Enjoy the ride-If you want to influence others then you have to have fun with it. If you are up tight then you won’t appeal to anyone. When you have learn to take it easy and be down to earth then it will show through and people will cling to what you have to offer.

    Since I have a blog, RSS feeds subscribers with 220+ email subscribers vs. ~50 RSS FeedReader subscribers…what I do to my monthly double-optin ezine subscriber list is write an unique article that I do not distribute anywhere else. I treat my ezine subscribers like gold (since they are my “ideal clients”)…since March 15, 2007, I am proud to share that I have a 0% unsubscribe-rate.

    Thanks for sharing the 39% stat…I didn’t know that one.
