Internet Business Opportunities | Moms, Family, And Our Purpose For Business

Moms, Family, And Our Purpose For Business

I have spent this whole weekend going through do-follow blogs putting down comments and you would be amazed how many had posts on Mother’s Day.  Many put several events and traits that they found admirable in their mothers.  I have realized how important mothers and families are for that matter.

A strong family will solidify anything that you do in your life.  I have realized that we fight so hard for financial success, power, and recognition.  We then forget what is really important in life and what makes us tick.  We can easily forget that they are the main reason we are attempting to achieve these goals.  I have heard that, “No success in the world can compensate for failure in the home.”  It is so true because that is the true legacy that you have when you leave this world.  If you prioritize now then your work world will not negatively influence what beauty you have in your household.

What is even more important is that if you can instill this with your children then it will make a huge difference in your kid’s life and their families.  I have seen numerous documentaries on modern day businessmen that are happy and those that aren’t.  Those that find happiness are able to build it through the love of their families.  They look to leave their huge CEO positions and spend time with their family or performing service for others.  They believe that there is more important things then building a huge business and becoming a financial giant.  We all die and it is how we impacted our lives and who we impacted that will make the difference.  As Jackie Robinson said, “A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives,”  Think of how you want your funeral to look and how people will remember.  What is important to you?  What are you living for?

Start now to realize why you are creating a business and what it will do for your family, because without your loved ones there is very little reason to get excited about life.

Cade,
This is an excellent post!

I agree it’s important to spend time with family, pass on the knowledge that you’ve learned to our younger generation. In doing so we help mold them into future leaders. I do this with my daughter and the mentees I volunteer for.

I think it is astounding how often people are willing to overlook the most important success they can have and that is in their house. That is the legacy they leave.

The Cinderella movie we watched was 4 years old so I doubt you would find it in a theater. I think a newer movie would be fun. How about Spiderman III?

“Start now to realize why you are creating a business and what it will do for your family, because without your loved ones there is very little reason to get excited about life”

I think some times people get so goal oriented that they forget the reason behind those goals and they forget that life has more to offer than working toward success.

Wise words :-) I would also say that business is just a small part of our life that way too many people escape to when they find personal matters too tough to handle. Unfortunately they tend to do that instead of talking to each other, deal with the problems and become happy. It’s much easier to just ignore the problems than to deal with them….

We tend to get stuck with routines too easy. Time passes (very fast!) and suddenly, we’ve wasted our lives on things that really doesn’t matter that much to us - and it’s so darn unnecessary!

I also find that it’s the business thinking that rules the society, which is a huge step backward for humanity really. I’m not even sure that the expression humanity (or love) exists so often any more.

It’s too much moneyhunting, stress and egoism ruling the world.

Oh, now it begin to sound like a propaganda speach - for humanity and love ;-)

(Thanks for stopping by :-)

PS: I had problems to comment here - I got some error saying something about that the Brian Threaded comments plugin weren’t activated from your admin page. Just for your information.
