Internet Business Opportunities | Always Growing

Always Growing

“A lot of companies have chosen to downsize, and maybe that was the right thing for them. We chose a different path. Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.”

Steve Jobs

I have to say that one of the most impressive things about an technological business is there is always room for growth and more to learn.  I saw an interview on 60 Minutes with a well-known Online Marketing Billionaire, Barry Diller, and his wife.  He had left Fox TV (which he helped make into a top four nework company) and a very sexy position to go into working with interactive online businesses.  People attacked him consistently, but he said that when he was first witnessed QVC he saw in his mind what it could become.  His wife mentioned how he would always figure out the most complicated ideas and do so three steps ahead.  He now has created IAC which owns 60 well known companies like Ticketmaster, Match.com, and Ask.com.  His company, although not as well known, has become the size of Google and EBay.

If you can look into the future consistently then it won’t hit you hard across the nose when it comes.  Many people are scared to think that far ahead, but I promise you what is killing you is just your lack of knowledge.  I am sure you do it already with your friends, family, or even the look of your yard.  You can see spots of grass dying because you know what color you should look for when it is good and when it is bad.  You then focus on that spot and solve the issue.  You have not trained your mind to think ahead as far as your business goes.  Life takes steps that are based on previous results.  You just have to position yourself on the front side of the wave.   Just as the Health Industry boom created by the aging of the Baby Boomers.  If you can do this consistently then you will never fear what happens in your business.
