Internet Business Opportunities | Outsource Your E-Mail Lists Please!

Outsource Your E-Mail Lists Please!

I talked earlier this week about outsourcing your business responsibilities.  That is an important concept for your e-mail lists also.  Don’t presume that you can create the list you want to and handle that type of a database on your own.  It is not realistic!  I have tried to gather e-mails and it is a tedious task putting together a database and being able to properly calculate what is the 20% of your list that is most productive for you.  Not to mention what is the 20% most productive e-mails you send out.

This leads to another task of deliverability.  While it is important to know what it will take for someone to open your business opportunity email, make sure that you are using a quality ESP (E-mail Service Provider) because they have the solid relationships with ISPs and they are on servers that are not blacklisted by them.  You could be on a blacklisted server because of someone else’s stupid spamming.  They will also take the time to test small percentages of your list to see what will be the most effective direction with the demographics of your lists.

You don’t want to lose your potential branding opportunities because even if you didn’t make a sale, someone may have missed out on valuable information that you had offered them for free.  Unfortunately now they won’t see it and you have missed a chance to make a deposit in the bank of trust.  Don’t worry about cost because of tight wallets.  It will hurt your bank account and dreams more if you don’t do it because of shear time preservation.  If money is an issue then go with a credible company like Aweber.  They are fair with their prices compared to the industry.

Take the time to write FAQ and boilerplate responses for your customers.  You will love yourself for doing it.  Many questions will be the same and you will not be required to make many changes.  Also please create a search so it can direct them to other e-mails, site posts, and related websites you have partnerships with.  This will increase your organic traffic and save you time on really pointless areas for you as a business owner.  It is like having a phone without a voicemail.

If you really believe in serving your customers (which is an absolute for any business) then create the time for yourself and allow for your customers to get their questions answered as soon as possible.  Guess what I am going to recommend?  You got it…outsourcing.  Find a Customer Service Center that has good experience in your area.  Empower them with your simple responsibilities.  People can do wonders when you have them think on their own.  Many already know what to do and most of the problems can be solved without you involved.

It is nice if you can find a solid company that can supply you with a lot of these areas so that way you can make a solid transition from marketing strategies to accounting decisions to legal concerns to company data analysis and countless other important issues.  Otherwise you waste time trying to explain issues between separate areas of your company.  Pointless. One company that I know a lot of large Internet Marketers use is a company called Infusion Software.  They are capable and reliable with their abilities to manage all of these areas and more.

Evaluate how much energy you put into your database.  You will see that there are many hours put towards your business in vain.  That may be a hard pill to swallow, but I am sure you didn’t start a business to work 80 hours a week and barely making it by financially.  Save yourself the time and outsource!

Great thoughts. I’ll be sure to create a customer database. I think I’ll be able to manage my business much more efficiently.

Good primer article there are many other aspects of business that can be outsourced to VA (virtual assistants)such as Brickwork etc.It does take some doing from the perspective of delegating and empowering the virtual staff as you would do real staff but it certainly can be done.
