Mixing Up Your Exercise

This same method obviously applies for eating too. That takes some important education on many different types of food that our out there. Unfortunately it is very habit forming for us to take a look at the chips and the treats because they are easy to make and eat. First you should spend more time at groceries and less at convenient stores. Look for easy to eat snacks like pretzels, yogurt, jello, fruit, and many other options. Start training your mind to look for other options. Then whatever you would eat, cut it in half and save the other half for later. This is going to take will power, but it will do wonders for your body. I have heard the saying, “Eat as much as you can fit in the palm of your hands put together.”
Find purpose in your weight loss
Next fill your time with exercise and other fun activities. Map out goals you want to accomplish. It might be completing a marathon or hiking up a mountain or whatever it is. Prepare your body for it and set short term goals. This will make the whole experience more exciting and worthwhile. I saw a two time cancer victim overcome his battle and climb to the 7 highest points on each of the continents. Be willing to stretch yourself, but don’t kill yourself. Then the weight will just naturally come off.
Find different exercises to do. Look at using different machines if you go to the gym and make it a goal to try out every machine that is there and learn how to use it. You will be amazed what this will do for your body. Then look at fun outdoor events like inline skating, swimming, jump roping, power walking, and cycling. These are all great ways for you to build new muscles and keep your body guessing so in turn you will burn a lot more weight.

I would disagree that pretzels and jello are good snack choices. Instead, look for filling foods that are light in calories. These foods are typically high in fiber, such as: apples, carrots, most veggies, low-carb high fiber bread, salad, berries, and some wheat products. Just go for high fiber, and avoid calorie-dense foods. Keeping healthy snacks and foods in your house is one of the biggest factors for looking fit and thin.
Have to agree there =)
I do the same thing in the gym all the time. When doing cardio switch machines every 15 minutes. And what I also like to do is set a calory goal for that days training, helps me.
I think excercise can be boring too, but I now watch my favorite soap opera while crosstraining half an hour a day. Works great for me
I am definitely more committed to exercise and eating healthy when I have a goal to accomplish, otherwise I find myself slacking off.
