I don't own my own business but I find that your post still holds true in every day life. Sometimes we get so caught up in daily routine that we end up taking our family for granted.

Thank you for sharing this with the Carnival of Family Life. Your post will be included in the July 30th edition at An Island Life.

Very nice post on the struggles of finding that work/life balance. As a parent, I am sure to make every effort to be there for every Little League game, basketball game, dance recital or whatever the event is for my kids.

I've been guilty of getting caught up in the thinking that I need to work so hard to provide for my wife and kids while the result is less time with them. You've provided a nice perspective on remembering what is truly important.
