When I was in college I took an introductory Portuguese class. I already speak spanish, so Portuguese wasn’t too tough to pick up. One topic we discussed a lot in that class was the how similar the racial diversity in Brazil is to what we have here in the US. The difference in Brazil, according to the instructor of the class, was how much more accepting people are of each other down there. She said it was especially apparent in how people reacted to interracial couples. In Brazil, she said people were almost envious of interracial couples because they made the most beautiful children! As more and more people are exploring interracial relationships, a site is looking to provide them with a way to find each other - interracial personals. This is just one more example of how the internet is bringing people together. I, for one, think it’s a great thing.
