Make Your Goals Specific For Specific Outcomes
I know that many times I have said, “I will achieve financial success and get this car or buy this house or take this trip.” None of it has ever happened until I decided that I would take steps even if they were very small steps toward success. I have been able to buy a house and get out of debt, sell property, start a successful internet business, create a great income in sales all because of one thing. I took the first hard small steps that have made it happen in my life.
They have become the zombies that they never wanted to be. There is no room for growth and no desire to break out of the standard thought of what the American Dream is. Now I want you to know that a 9-5 job with a house and a family is one of the greatest things in the world and miracles can happen in that lifetime, but if you want more then don’t get chained down to a lifestyle that is not you.
Realize who you are and do so with your family by your side. Support your families dreams and talk about them often. Write them out and celebrate them when you achieve them. This will make your achievements and involvement with each other so much sweeter. Some of the greatest families I have known were supportive of each other and concerned with their well-being.
Find your family goals, personal goals, business goals, internet goals, or whatever they may be and make them a reality. Start at the end and work back to them and start taking the necessary, possibly small steps to living your dreams. Find out what that car will cost or what that trip will cost. Look up what type of boat you want or fishing gear you need. This will make life exciting.
