Preemptive Marketing For Your Internet Business Opportunity
One of the most stupid things I see on the internet is that people get too niched with their topics that they market. They have great ideas, but they can’t properly explain what they are offering to people and it destroys potential customers. Always remember that customers have not read what you have read probably and they haven’t put in as much time as you have so they get lost.
Please people stop talking about terms that you think people know. It wasn’t that long ago when no one knew what a blog was and many still don’t. Explain that it is a Weblog and what the purpose of a blog is. The same can be said for an RSS feed, viral marketing, SEO, SMO and the list goes on and on. One of the great things that makes someone like Courtney Tuttle so impressive is that he explains everything in a very practical way and if it isn’t done in that post then you can find an explanation in another post and he will create a link to it.
Take the time to create something special and appeal to your customer. When you tell them of important plugins, downloads, or marketing tips then give them links and directions. Be very clear with descriptions and detailed so that a simpleton like me could even understand. Often people will use catch phrases like cutting edge, top of the line, etc. Well explain exactly how you are cutting edge. What is it that you have to offer and how is that process accomplished. You can feed people lot of marketing fluff, but unless you are preemptive on any other company by explaining it then it could be lost as simple noise.
