I think in truth, many people would never even consider the answers to these questions because the cannot even begin to appreciate the magnitude of the problem. Sadly, the widespread Not In My Back Yard attitude seems to have given people something to hide behind. I do not know what it would take for people to actually realise the severity of the situation.
