Nick Maounis And Amaranth Sue Steve Black, Bill Winters, And JPMorgan

I am sure that many of you wonder what is going on with our economy lately. Amaranth is suing JPMorgan for undercutting them last year after losing profits and that looks like it is going to be a complete mess. It looks as though Amaranth believes that JPMorgan used its power or abused it as Amaranth’s clearing broker. Amaranth lost $6 billion in its collapse 2006, which is the largest hedge fund disaster in history.

This was done by holding back the hedge fund from transferring the remaining risk in its natural-gas derivatives portfolio to a huge Fortune 500 company, Goldman Sachs. Then on top of that apparently they then gave out false claims to kill a potential deal with the Citadel Investment Group. Sounds like a lot of money is going to spent on that nonsense. On top of that you look at a horrible housing market and a lot of CEOs getting cut down left and right in this recession. I hope all of you are making smart decisions with your money.
