How Long Will It Take To Achieve My Goals?

Filed Under Starting A Business |

Most of the people I know that start a business think that they are going to have their goals met when they anticipate they will achieve. Now I agree with positive thinking and trying to achieve goals at a quick pace, but be aware that your desire will not always be the result. If you find yourself not on pace to what you want to accomplish then I suggest that you look to make changes in order to get to your results.

Also don’t get frustrated and think it isn’t worth it. It is fine to make adjustments and often solid work can be only a couple steps away from success. So stay persistent because it will happen.

The key is setting goals but welcoming setbacks,, Then working towards the goal again.

Consistency is the key. You just have to make sure you get back to your goals if you get side tracked. I would find a systems that works well for you and try to stick to it. Also, break your big goals down to pieces if you get overwhelmed.

Many people quit even before taking action. Don’t do that, otherwise you’ll end up failing before realizing that your idea might blossom. Also having a plan is very important. Fail to plan and you’re planing to fail. Javier.-

I think the “baby steps” approach is best. If you feel you’re moving forward, however slowly, you can stay calm and focused and confident about what you do.

But if you try and take huge strides you can stumble badly, feel defeated and lose your confidence and composure.

I think this happens to a lot of people who sign up to “get rich quick” schemes. They expect too much too quickly and end up walking away feeling embittered when it doesn’t happen.

all too often people seem to just give up when they are at first don and goal, in business.
they quit when they are almost there!
For those that feel discouraged, remember that the light bulb failed over 1,000 times!
On that note, Thomas Edison once said, “Nothing ever works just to please you. You have to make the damm thing work”. James
