Great post, and excellent comments guys. I just started a business in October of this year, and it's been rough going. At first, I tried a sales approach that although it wasn't deceptive, it did conceal the nature of the service from the potential client. This was due to competition issues. I found little success that way. Business owners are smart people, and have learned to be suspicious of such tactics. So yes, it literally pays to be upfront and ethical in all business dealings.

Again, great post!

I create lead generation websites for the insurance industry, and, I appreciate the author's recommendation of ethical and straightforward approach to business opportunity leads.

My contribution is to support the author's comment about realistic claimed benefits - THEY WORK! In fact relevant, REALISTIC benefits are exactly what prospects are seeking.

Example: My last insurance leads generation website supplied <a href="http://www.equitamedicaresupplementleads.com" rel="nofollow">Medicare leads"</a> to independent salesmen. To be certain that I was building the site upon real benefits that independent salesmen responded to, I spent a day listening to the sales managers who took incoming prospect calls. All of their conversations reduced in the end to just three featured things:
 high-quality leads that convert;
 exclusivity of each lead;
 and
 protected sales territories.

Nothing extraordinary or extravagant there! Of course the company actually DOES supply those features.

The result has been a website site which successfully and reliably converts surfing salesmen into lead buyers at a high percentage ratio.

I encourage you follow this ethical and direct approach when building your own sites for business opportunity leads - because it works.

I would like to agree with the comment by Tracy,quickly becoming rich is doomed to die. Yes it is normally pays less when we start initially any business. But experience from other business successes we understand the underlying truth about becoming the Lead.
