How Do I Find A Good Business Opportunity Lead
Yes I know, there are a lot of bad leads out there.
Where do I get a good business opportunity lead? That is such a difficult question to answer because there are countless options out there for you to find leads from different organizations. It is so hard to know who to trust by giving them your money.
Countless sales and fulfillment companies deal with bad leads year after year and shift through lead like hot girlfriends. It looks oh so appealing, but you just don’t know if it will be a good long term fit.
Where Do They Come From?
Often the biggest problems are not the quality of leads, but the way the leads are generated. Many times it comes down to finding the right combination of PPC or organic capturing and solid landing pages to make the right lead for the right company.
A big problem with lead companies are they are trying to net as many leads as they can so they are going to get them however they can. This doesn’t mean it will be a good fit for your branding.
Often there is a lot of hype in the copy materials and this can be a headache for a salesman. This attracts the wrong customer or helps to promote the wrong idea to the customer.
Personal Example Of Bad Leads
I remember this “turnkey” program that we were trying to sell at this firm I worked for and the marketing showed a picture of a computer with a key in it and money spewing out of it. Well what impression do you think this creates?
We got a call from several people asking where is the key and where do I plug it in the computer. Duh! Folks! Come on!
Besides that fact that if someone is that ignorant then they are not ready, it still paints a nice picture of how much misplaced hype exists in online marketing. The more that you can temper the expectations of the clients and over deliver, then the better off the relationship will be long term.
Companies are build and destroyed based on the principle of dishonesty and it’s cute little sister is named “Hype”. Don’t start going down a wrong path of finding the business opportunity seeker lead. That false hope only leads to more and more wasted time, unwanted refunds, and customer service hours.
