Sometimes You Have To Reach Out And Touch Someone
One of the hardest things to do is connecting to people. Networking can be as challenging as finding a girlfriend. You think you have potential and then you realized that you went down the wrong alley.
Well it is time to try for another route that is worth mentioning. I recently signed up for Twitter and Squidoo. Both of which are social media giants. They help to connect people and are worth spending some time on. Here is my Twitter page and my Squidoo lens for anyone that is interested or bored.
Internet Business Opportunity Squidoo lens
I am really curious about opinions and feelings on both of these tools. Do you have any good ways to use them that have been beneficial? If so spill your guts below and we can follow each other, tweet, squidoo it up, or whatever floats your boat!

It’s very hard to find the genuine online home business opportunity through internet.
Most of the time online business jobs are paid.
I can relate to this ! , I’ve heard some goody things about this blog !
I am interested very much in the subject matter of your blog, it’s my first visit
Social networking sites are great at getting you listed and to communicate with potential/existing customers, but actually generating an online sale is pretty challenging and slim at best.
I have been receiving about online jobs but the bad part about it is that i have to pay certain amount of dollars before I can start to work on the job. Is there really normal?
I started my home business opportunity through the internet. Not exactly online, but a great business opportunity nonetheless.
I use both squidoo and Twitter.
Personally I feel it’s less about the tool and more about your own willingness to engage and take part. Like building ‘real world’ connections it takes time.
With all the social tools out there - listen first, find people you like, get involved with that they’re doing and show a real interest and then, and only then, dive in yourself
I use to post on forums to establis not only back links but good business relations too.
@ Mike,
I do agree to you to find out new customers the best places are forums, social networking sites etc. I am getting work from Getafreelancer and digitalpoint.
Networking is very important because it can bring you a lot of traffic if done right.
nice comparing!…network really works
There are too many people online that sit in their parents basement smoke their herb and make tons of bank.
The key to making money online in my opinion is approaching it like a brick and mortar business with no walls.
I like HubPages more, though it is more like Squidoo than Twitter. You can publish longer articles in both sites (Hub & Squid) and you can put in many products for sale, as long as they are all related to your topic. However, the Hub is nearer to my heart because I’ve worked with it longer than Squid and Twit. (Sorry for adding my affectionate nicknames for these sites.) Thanks for giving a chance to share my thoughts
I’ve never used either, but I’ve always believed part of bringing people in was to be prolific. In other words, if you have a lot to say, eventually people will listen.
Great post, networking is the only way to succeed in business today,.
Twitter can be a real good source to connect, as you can find people by keyword or local demographic radius. You can also find a prominent or famous figure in your industry and begin to follow his friends. This is very targeted marketing.
Thank you for sharing. Will definatley use it. Hurry up and post again!
Yes it’s true that networking gives positive results. Lots of people are there like twitter etc. to whom you can connect and spread your online business.

Thanks for this yet another great post on home based business. Yes, determination is the key factor to success. Thanks again.
Social networking is so important and valuable.
A guy I work with was referred to us by one of his Twitter followers. If it hadn’t been for that recommendation, we may have never found him.
It’s all about networking. Social net sites are definatley the way to go.
I have had some really good results from building relationships on twitter. ( I just followed you http://twitter.com/nancymk) The key is to engage in conversation with others and not just broadcast your blog posts or sales offers.
I have not had such good results from my Squidoo lens. Maybe I just didn’t do it right, but I will keep trying.
I´m a big fan of Hubpages.I do have Squidoo and use Twitter as well.
I haven’t signed up for twitter or squidoo, but I would love to hear an update on what your impression was. I’ll get them right now and see what I think. I’m more interested what they can do for my SEO
I don’t have either of these, but I would like to know what your impression is of them. In fact I will go get them right now and see what I think too.
Social sites like Myspace and Facebook are good places to network with others. It´s not difficult to do, just join groups and participate.Fill in your profile completely so people can learn more about you and remember to include a link back to your site.
Yuo couldnt be more right, networking is like finding a girlfriend. I have tried both twitter and squidoo, and I gotta say that twitter has actually proved to be pretty useful.
I wish finding a girlfriend was as easy as networking. I found that to be a lot easier of an experience.
